Good morning everyone,

Summer is quickly coming to an end which can only mean one thing… school is back in session. With the start of the school year comes lots of soccer practices, band rehearsals, and after-school activities. As a mother, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to keep schedules straight while attempting to get everyone where they need to be. Clear communication and staying organized is crucial to successfully getting your family through the school year.

One way to accomplish this is through schedule organizing apps like Cozi. It’s a free app that allows you to keep track of all your family’s events and activities. The whole family can add their events into your calendar, so everyone is aware of the entire family’s schedule.

To help your kids stay organized at school, have them use separate planners to keep track of their academic deadlines and social/sport activities. This will help your child learn responsibility and independence while teaching them good organization practices.

These are just a couple examples of the many ways that can help you navigate the chaos that comes with the school year. I would love to hear about how you stay calm and carry on throughout the school year!

Up and up!
