Suddenly we’re all spending a lot more time at home these days and it’s giving us the opportunity to tackle some home improvement projects! If you’re looking for a new color, I thought I’d share the Pantone color of the year for 2020, the color is Classic Blue. This shade was chosen because of the calming, familiar hue this color exudes. It helps usher in the new decade while also hinting at a return of applying more traditional styles into decorating. This might seem like a dull choice but in the world we live in today, surrounded by uncertainty, especially with the current chaos, this color is a welcomed sense of calmness and familiarity.
Blue is a color you can rely on. It carries the calmness and dependability we all crave, instilling a little bit of tranquility into our everyday lives. To celebrate the color of the year here are 3 ways to incorporate the color blue into your life.
- Get outside! Appreciate all the different shades found in nature while enjoying some fresh air!
- Add some more blue to your home. Freshen up your living space and add some fresh, new accents of blue.
- Add more blue into your wardrobe! Add a pop of blue with a statement bag or a vibrant shoe.
Personally, I love this year’s color. Sometimes the classics are just what we need. Embrace tradition and soak up some blue!
